Maria has a diverse professional background, having worked in journalism, translation, and complementary medicine before transitioning into leadership roles in various sectors. Her roles included leading a team of researchers at Foresight Factory, operations and account management at Artis Education, and Director of Services at Toynbee Hall, where she led an organisational restructure. Most recently, she held a senior role at the Raspberry Pi Foundation, leading a global team to expand the reach of computing education programmes and establish strategic partnerships.
Maria’s areas of expertise include leadership transitions, career coaching, inclusive leadership, building positive relationships, and supporting neurodiverse colleagues. She has successfully worked with clients across industries, including finance, education, and non-profit organisations. She excels in helping clients develop confidence, resilience, and effective communication skills while fostering psychological safety and inclusive work environments.
Maria holds certifications from the International Coach Federation (ACC) and has completed training in Applied Transactional Analysis and group facilitation. She has worked with clients such as Barclays Bank, Nottingham University, and the World Green Building Council.
