Harriet Nelson is an experienced executive coach, facilitator, and programme designer. Known for her calm, authentic, and spacious style, she creates a transformative space that blends challenge and support. With over 20 years of experience in healthcare, Harriet's career began at Korn/Ferry International (Life Sciences Practice) and GlaxoSmithKline, where she focused on talent acquisition and development. She managed global leadership programmes and was pivotal in building a coaching culture at GSK. Harriet’s career includes a six-month secondment in Ghana, where she worked with rural communities, researched health policies, and established a microloan partnership for women’s collectives.
As Coaching Director at GSK, Harriet led global coaching initiatives, designed bespoke programmes, and facilitated team and group coaching sessions across multiple cultures and functions. Her experience also includes transition coaching at CEO, SVP, and VP levels, helping senior leaders move into new roles or navigate complex organisational transformations.
Harriet holds an MSc in Occupational Psychology from Birkbeck, University of London, and is an accredited PCC coach with the ICF. She is also a Coaching Constellations Practitioner and serves as an External Tutor at Henley Business School.
