Andre Samuels is an executive leadership coach with over 15 years of experience in leadership development, team dynamics, and organisational transformation. Known for empowering individuals and organisations to reach their full potential, Andre’s coaching philosophy is rooted in the belief that leadership is about influence and inspiration, not authority. He helps clients discover their authentic leadership style while enhancing their self-awareness, communication, and relationship-building skills.
Since 2021, Andre has served as the Leadership Coach and Director of School Equity Initiatives at KIPP DC, where he has made significant contributions by designing and facilitating year-long professional development programmes for school-based teams. His work has fostered collaboration and strategic thinking, enhancing overall performance. In addition to his work at KIPP DC, Andre founded Apogee Executive Coaching in 2019, where he coaches executives and teams, helping them develop leadership qualities and management skills.
Andre’s expertise spans DEI, organisational development, and leadership coaching. His work includes leading team coaching sessions on equity, unconscious bias, and policy creation. He has worked with both profit and non-profit leaders across various industries, offering bespoke coaching programmes that drive organisational success.
Andre holds an Ed.D. in K-12 School and Organisational Development, an MBA in Leadership, and multiple certifications, including from the International Coaching Federation and Cornell University’s DEI programme.
